Congratulations to the Republican Party on being only 24 years behind the Democrats in nominating a woman for vice-president. I wish her as much luck as Geraldine Ferraro had in 1984 when she ran with Walter Mondale.
It looks important for Mr. McCain to have a healthy running mate, he turned 72 today. He needs someone behind him who is experienced and can run the country in his absence. But then that is not likely.
Which is not likely, his absence or his running the country?
McCain & Palin winning the election. His health is not good. It would be likely if he won that she would be the president. She has NO foriegn policy experience. But she DOES have experience in losing as a second. She lost when she ran for lieutenant govenor in 2002.
