I'm Glad the Weekend Is Over

We had a very busy weekend. Thurdsay we went to the Field Museum to see our friend Roland Denis play drums in a band in the museum. They did real well and I became the offical tour photographer as Roland has a new digital camera he wanted pictures taken with. Of course I had to work till late on Friday, though I did get out of here by 10:00PM after starting at 8:00AM. Then Saturday consisted of getting the house ready for another party. John James is going to teach English in Kuwait, so the Hazlett-Helwig bunch thru him a luau at our house. The weather was rather cool, almost record breaking. But we had a great time. Hawaiian shirts, skirts, decorations and food. Sunday was church, setup, sing, tear-down. Finally a chance to rest in the evening. Now it is back to work. Now I can get back to normal and refresh for next weekend. Another luau, but not at our house.
