The Blog is Clogged

We seem to have slowed down on family blogging. I guess that's because we all live such exciting lives. I don't have anything of note to report either, but I do enjoy reading the exploits of the family around the globe. So in the interest of keeping this thing going, I'll post some not-so-noteworthy bloggings.

The cookie exchange at Daniela's was fun. We ate and ate and then we took a bunch home. Next year, I'll be more prepared with some unusual recipes. And I'll carve out more time for baking. Like Auntie Jean says, "baking got crossed off the to-do list about five years ago..."

Jo & George are going to Alaska on Christmas Eve.
Bill & Valerie are on their way to South Florida, arriving on Friday 12/23.
Jennell and Josh have come home. Jennell is staying with Grandma.
Christmas Eve will be celebrated after church at the Dwyers, if anyone is interested... The guy in the red suit may make an appearance there late.
Christmas Day will be celebrated at the Lamberts' on Pine Drive. Dinner is at 5 pm.

There are 5 more shopping days till Christmas. Yikes. I gotta go.

Thanks for the holiday itenerary. Bill and Valerie enjoyed the evening they spent in Tennessee with the Leverenzes, especially the part where Rick and Bill sat around hollering at the TV. The Bears won that game quite soundly, as you may know.

We also have been enjoying our visit here in Sarasota. We went to the Ringling Museum and enjoyed the Gulf. Val and Christine Wertz caught up on the gosip; er, I mean, personal histories of people they knew from church. Dean and Bill worked on the Wertz's computer and on Dean's projects. We are about to go out again now and tommorow are going kayaking thru the intercoastasl and into the Gulf.
We will scoot down to South Florida on Friday. Gotta see my big sister and her man before they leave for Alaska (are you sure about this, Joanne? We left 6 degree weather to come here).
