Been thinking about you all day! Hope it was a happy day.
We had an interesting weekend here in Florida. We attempted a garage sale of all "Grandma's treasures" -- what a nightmare! It was hot, humid, and chaotic. But we got rid of a lot of stuff and made a few dollars, divided by four. I'm personally glad it's over. But it was nice that Bill drove down to help, and was able to take some furniture home with him. He's on the road now, heading back to Chicago.
But here's the weirdest thing of the day. Today Joe and I got a letter from Italy, accusing us of not paying a toll when we were there in 2004! They want $$, of course. Can you imagine? I wonder what the statute of limitations is on toll-skipping in Italy! Let that be a lesson to you when you travel. If you don't understand the road signs, and you drive thru a ticket booth, make a note of it so you don't get caught a few years later, not being able to remember whether it happened or not!
