Email from Trace

I got an email from Trace the other day. He talked about the condidtions there (better than last time), his thoughts on Jay (not sure which is worse; terrorists or Marine DIs), and the fact that he expects to be home this month (hoping they live up to their promises).

You can email him at nail_bunny_333@yahoo.com. He is rather slow about responding but does eventually. Who knows, he may be home soon (praying for that here).

But I have a question. Why did you send that information to Janette D Bremner in the UK. I do not think that her cell phone will be protected by the US do not call laws. ;->

He got dropped back to another platoon which graduates Jan 21. The reason was that he got a weird bug bite on his calf that made it swell all up. He had to go to the doctor so much that he missed too much of the M-16 rifle training. He is bummed about this since it takes him away from the platoon he knows and his buddies. He had the drill instructor figured out, and now he has a new one. He's feeling disconnected and lonesome there and he's trying to get his bearings. If anyone sent him anything to the old address lately, he'll get it eventually, but use the new address from now on.
